Aortic Stenosis Across the Spectrum: From Native Valve to Prosthetic Valve

Learning Objectives:

  1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of aortic stenosis. This includes the review of fundamental diagnostic strategies for native aortic stenosis, including the challenges of low-flow, low-gradient AS and the role of dobutamine stress echocardiography.
  2. Recognition of mechanisms and echocardiographic findings of prosthetic valve dysfunction of patients with aortic stenosis and the available treatment options. 
  3. Understand patient-prosthesis mismatch (PPM) and explain how to diagnose PPM on echocardiography.

Target Audience: All Physicians, Fellows, Residents, Medical Students, PAs, Nurses and other Healthcare professionals.
