Identified Need:

The goal of this activity is to provide interdisciplinary medical education in the hospital setting to address gaps in knowledge, performance and competency as identified by the peer review process.

 

Expected Outcome:

Enhanced healthcare provider knowledge and skills that modify participant’s behavior to improve the quality of patient care.

 

Objectives:

  • Describe morbidity and mortality in the context of Head and Neck.
  • Summarize what went well/wrong and how to improve it.
  • Explain the importance of collaborative healthcare team to reduce morbidity and mortality in order to improve quality of care.

 

Target   Audience:

All Physicians, FAU / Larkin Faculty, Residents, Medical Students, PAs, Nurses and other health care professionals.

Delray Medical Center is accredited by Florida Medical Association (FMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Delray Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This activity will be reported directly to CE Broker after learners completes an evaluation form.
